What is Chemical Skin Peel?
It is a chemical exfoliation process, which will penetrate the deeper layers, so that the top layers begin to shed. The process stimulates collagen and increases cellular turnover, so you’re left with fresh, radiant skin. This treatment works best for people who are experiencing acne and scarring, discoloration, poor texture, and hyperpigmentation. This safe and effective treatment is also effective anti-ageing solution.

CHEMICAL PEEL

Superficial - This is sometimes referred to as superficial, which will remove the epidermis – the outer layer. This can be used for treating dryness, uneven skin-tone, acne, and fine wrinkles. You may be able to have this as regularly as every two to five weeks, depending on the results you’re looking to achieve, and skin-types.

Medium - This will remove skin cells from the epidermis, as well as portions from the upper part of the dermis, which is the skin’s middle layer. Medium depth can help uneven skin tone, acne scars, and wrinkles. This treatment can enhance the appearance of mild scars through the use of a chemical solution to get rid of the outer layer of old skin. In order to maintain results, you can repeat between every three and nine months.

Deep - These will remove skin cells from the epidermis, as well as the mid to lower layer of your dermis. If you have precancerous growths or deeper wrinkles, this may be the best solution for you.
The Chemical Skin Peel Treatment
During your consultation we will determine which chemical peel is right for you. We will find out about your lifestyle habits, skin types and your goals, as well as assessing the current condition of your skin.

When you are ready to begin, we will prime your skin by using a pre-prep solution. You can also use a fan to help you with any sting or tingling sensation. We will then start to peel. This will take around 30 minutes, although this can differ from patient to patient. Once we are finished, we will apply a post-peel moisturizer and some sunscreen, and then you’re good to go.
