What are Skin Tags?
These are small growths which protrude from the skin and are usually the same color or slightly darker. They tend to appear in places where there is a lot of friction on the skin (with clothes or jewelry) and in skin folds. As a consequence, you will often find them on the neck, underarms or eyelids. They aren’t usually harmful, but some individuals regard them as unsightly and/or irritating and are keen to have them removed.
Skin Tag Removal

Skin tags can be removed easily using advanced electrolysis. This is a non-invasive procedure which involves sending a current into a tiny probe which, in turn, dries up the skin tag. Because it takes hardly any time to perform, advanced electrolysis for skin tag removal can take place during an individual’s lunch hour. Certainly, there will only be very minor scarring to indicate electrolysis has taken place.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Does it hurt? While everyone experiences different levels of pain, you may feel some discomfort and needle stick pain.
-
Are there any side effects? There may be some swelling or bruising for a few days. The results commonly improve over time, as the swelling subsides, and the filler settles more naturally – this process often takes up to 2 weeks.
-
Am I suitable for Fillers treatment? This treatment is not suitable for anyone who is pregnant, breastfeeding or has severe allergic reactions
-
Fillers Aftercare? The following may assist with recovery and results: Following the instructions provided by our specialists before and after your treatment Stay upright following your treatment for 3-4 hours Avoid sleeping for 3-4 hours after the treatment (to avoid pressing the treated area) Take arnica supplements and apply arnica cream Avoid strenuous exercise following the treatment Limit your sun exposure Apply a cold compress to the treated area Avoid facial treatments or other treatments on the area Should you experience any symptoms, notify us so we can best assist you. To maintain the effect of your treatment, you will require further follow ups.
-
When will I see results? Most patients will notice immediate results following their filler treatment. However, note that it can take 7-10 days to notice the final results, which is when any potential bruising, swelling or redness subsides.
-
How long do the results last? This will depend on your own metabolism. Some people will break down the fillers more quickly than others. A general rule of thumb is that fillers typically last longer in the areas that move the least – such as cheeks, in comparison to lips, which may last a little less time. To maintain the effectiveness of your Fillers treatment, you will require further follow-ups, but you can expect your cheek fillers to last for 6 months and more.
-
What are the benefits of Fillers?Quick – most treatments take approximately 30 minutes to perform. Faster and more effective than creams – the treatment results are much faster than those achieved when using skincare. Long-lasting results – whilst long-lasting, most fillers are not permanent and are reversible.
